LoveLocal Card
These are the terms and conditions (‘Terms’) you are agreeing to when you join (become a paid member of) the LoveLocal Card. By purchasing your LoveLocal Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms before making your purchase.
‘We’, ‘Our’ ‘Us’ means ‘My Town Digital t/a My Richmond’
‘The Card’ and ‘Card’ refers to the plastic LoveLocal Card.
‘Membership’ refers to membership of the LoveLocal Card
‘Participating Businesses’ refer to businesses offering discounts through the LoveLocal Card
About Discounts
The Card may only be used at participating businesses as detailed on this website.
Although every effort is made to ensure businesses offer discounts for a period of time, Participating Businesses may change and we’ll endeavour to keep the offers list healthy and up-to-date.
Only one LoveLocal Card may be used per transaction, though this may be to purchase one or multiple items as details on each offer listing.
Unless otherwise stated on individual store descriptions or unless the Participating Business exists solely as an online business, discounts are not valid online. They are only valid in participating businesses.
The LoveLocal Card must be presented at the point of sale or before placing your order in order to receive the discounts.
Participating Businesses may choose not to accept the LoveLocal Card in conjunction with any other offer or vouchers.
The LoveLocal Card may not be used to purchase vouchers, gift cards or stamps at any of the participating businesses.
The decision over whether discounts apply on Bank Holidays rests with Participating Businesses and will be details on each offer listing.
Unless otherwise stated, discounts offered through the LoveLocal Card may not be used in conjunction with any other offers including sales or multi-buy offers.
To the best of our ability we choose quality and reputable Participating Businesses, however We are not liable for any shortcomings in your customer experience.
Your membership and card
Data Protection
Your payment data is not stored by the LoveLocal Card but is handled via GoCardless.
Your data including email address, name and home address will be treated in the strictest of confidence. We may disclose personal data about you (a) if we are required or permitted to do so by law or legal process, for example due to a court order or a request from a law enforcement agency, (b) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, (c) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or other illegal activity, and (d) in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including in the event of a reorganisation, dissolution, or liquidation).
Cardholders will be updated of new businesses joining the LoveLocal Card and other relevant information via email. These are sent with your consent, where required. You can opt out by emailing support@myrichmondapp.com or using the link on any of the emails we send.
Liability
Though we try our best to make sure all external links are correct, we are not liable for the content of any third party website.
Offering LoveLocal Card memberships is at our discretion, we reserve the right to not issue membership or to terminate membership if you breach these Terms.
Copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights within this website and the material distributed by My Town Digital Limited shall at all times remain with us or our licensors. Permission to use this material must be obtained in writing from us. Reproducing, distributing, transmitting or exploiting our content for commercial gain is not permitted.
These terms and conditions replace all previous versions, are correct as of October 2023 and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts. We reserve the rights to change these at any time on reasonable notice for legal, regulatory, business or policy reasons. Members who continue to participate in the scheme, following such a change, will be considered to have accepted the updated terms and conditions.
A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right under the contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms and conditions. But this shall not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.
